The Technical Accountant will oversee the accounts department, reviewing accounts files to ensure they adhere to compliance requirements prior to client submissions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising processes throughout theaccounts department as well as providing feedback to juniors as part of their professional development.This is an excellent opening for a technically robust accountant with sound working application of preparing accounts and is constantly up to date with compliance standards such as FRS 102/105 and GAAP.An incredible opportunity in what is seen a vital position within the team. Ideal candidate:
  • A qualified accountant, ACCA or ACA / ICAEW or equivalent, although QBEs with prior experience in an accountancy firm will also be considered
  • A technical robust individual that is constantly up to date with adaptations in compliance requirements
  • IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS etc)
  • Ability to communicate across different business levels
