Job Description

We are looking for a professional, efficient, and friendly Registrar for a lovely network of schools in the Midlands area. You will be reporting to the Foundation Director of Marketing & Admissions, a lovely mentor and kind colleague. We need someone torecruit students at all entry points of the schools required, working with the Head Master to ensure collaborative relationships.Location: West Midlands, WarwickshireDay-to-day job:

  • To ensure the admissions processes at the School are administered promptly and effectively, including processing registration forms, arranging tours, offers, and acceptances, and maintaining the registration and waiting lists.
  • To be the first point of contact for inquiries from prospective parents and to be the ambassador for the school.
  • To liaise with Senior staff, taking into consideration the individual needs of prospective pupils and parents.
  • Manage and take responsibility for all aspects of the admissions process e.g. interviews and school visits for all applications to ensure that applicants receive a positive impression of the school and that our schools are the first choice for prospectiveparents and students in the area.
  • Organise and manage Admissions events as required; working collaboratively with the Marketing team, Admissions colleagues, and School Administration
  • Routinely and rigorously monitor admissions data, updating the school database and reporting regularly to the Foundation Director of Marketing & Admissions.
  • Maintain a "prospects" list for the School inquiries and report on the number of inquiries, applications etc. regularly keeping the forecast tracker up to date while also working collaboratively with the other Registrar on sharing prospective pupil datawhere relevant.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create and send simple emails to prospects at all levels, analysing data as required
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of both local and national trends within the independent education sector.
  • Ensure all Admissions activities are on track as per customer journey, liaising with the other Registrars as required.
  • To report any Health & Safety problems to the Head of Health & Safety.
