  • Ability to read, create and understand component & tool drawings, process the information to identify potential problems and modify accordingly for use. (20%)
  • Able to set, operate and program 4/5 axis CNC turning center, can critically assess the suitability of cutting tool design and simple jigs & fixtures for their intended application, knowledge of machining spherical components and controlling tool & gaugedesign advantage. (15%)
  • Experience of TPM, 5s, lean tool and problem solving using TQ tools, i.e., Pareto, 5 why, RCA etc. (5%)
  • Has detailed working knowledge of CNC machines (Doosan lynx/MX range preferred) and any other general manufacturing or production type equipment, like lapping/polishing. (10%)
  • Can confidently solve problems and work with little supervision. (10%)
  • Able to maintain accurate records according to business requirements. (10%)
  • Understand the basic principles of KPI reporting & validation protocols (IQ OQ) (5%)
  • Understand the principles of metrology. Can use standard equipment i.e., Micrometer, vernier etc. CMM and roundness machines an advantage. (10%)
  • Knowledge of UG/CAM packages and lapping/polishing would be advantageous (10%) Can take on other duties that may be assigned (5%)
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 Years plus experience
  • Strong CNC Machining background
  • Machining metal components
  • Background in manufacturing
