Job Description

  • Working with other members of the information security team and the wider IT function to deliver a world class IT environment, assisting with the creation and roll out of global and local security policies.
  • Triage, prioritising and resolution or escalation of all incoming security incidents, alerts and detections, alongside working with external SOC and Analysts on any discovered IOC, incidents, or concerns.

  • Work with other members of the information security team and the wider IT function to deliver a world class IT environment.
  • Assisting with the creation and roll out of global and local security policies
  • Triage, prioritising and resolution or escalation of all incoming security incidents, alerts and detections
  • Working with external SOC and Analysts on any discovered IOC, incidents, or concerns
  • Assisting the Service Desk team with any reported Incident, Change Request or Service Request which require input or validation for security purposes.
  • Proactive threat hunting via log analysis from endpoints, network appliances, firewalls, EDR and NDR systems.
  • Auditing of all IT systems for vulnerabilities reporting to Infrastructure for patch management
  • Act as an escalation point for internal or external Infosec queries
  • Partaking in regular penetration testing
  • Assisting in compliance audits where there is an Infosec requirement
  • Representing Information Security as part of project lifecycles
  • BAU management of MDM/EMM platform, Next-Gen firewall, NDR, EDR and email defence systems
Profile
  • Capable of independent working as well as team working.
  • Self starter able and willing to look for the solution.
  • Able to learn and continually improve own skill set, via research and self-paced training
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Analytical skills including incident reports and executive summaries
  • Embraces change and continual improvement
    • Infosec/Cyber-security operations
    • Firewall management and best practice
    • Operating System hardening and best practices (Least privilege, etc)
  • Familiarity with
    • Endpoint/Network Detection and Response Systems
    • Working with ITIL Service Desk
    • ISO:27001 or similar standards
  • Previous work in a Security Operations Centre would be beneficial
  • Cyber-security qualification would be beneficial
  • Some or all of the following tools would be beneficial:
    • Crowdstrike
    • SenseOn
    • Palo Alto Firewalls
    • XSOAR
    • ProofPoint
    • MobileIron
    • Wandera
    • Microsoft EMS
Job Offer
  • Knowledge of German, Czech or Chinese would be advantageous but is not essential
