Job Description

Brook Street are currently working with a client who are seeking 1 x Court Usher for a role to start ASAP on a temporary on-going basis. The location of the client is based in Leamington Spa.Have you wanted to work in a fast paced, exciting environment where no day is the same This is a very exciting role for someone who is looking for variety within the work place, and wanting to work within the courts. Every day brings something different and you will be able to gain and develop many skills. You will be joining a well resourced team that work collectively together.Your tasks will include preparing the courtroom and keeping order in public areas. There will be an element of meeting and greeting court users and visitors, whilst checking that witnesses, defendants and lawyers are present. You will be keeping people informed of changes to hearing times, and calling the defendant and witnesses into course. Moreover, you will be directing the taking of oaths, and labelling evidence to portray to the judge and jury.
