Since our first property fund launched in 2013, we have helped to provide homes for almost 3,000 individuals and families in over 1,000 properties, in major cities across the UK.With peoples homes at the heart of what we do, our Impact Labs team develop the eco-system, around and ahead of our impact property funds, so that we innovate new solutions, pilot systemic change, increase supply and scale opportunity.About the Senior Communications Manager role

• The Senior Communications Manager is a new and important role for us. You will play a key part in communicating our mission of connecting capital with social enterprise. This role operates across all our business, but the main focus is on our award-winningHomelessness Property Funds. You will help us communicate our story through helping to lead our PR; build relationships and influence key stakeholders such as media, government, industry, social enterprise and Investment and Pension Networks.
• As Senior Communications Manager youll work across the business acting as the focal point between journalists, our PR Agency and the key individuals within Resonance, youll build relationships with Policymakers, National and Regional Government, and youlllead on Research projects, articulating findings into key messages and content.
• The Senior Communications Manager will be our go to expert and spokesperson on challenges impacting on Affordable Housing & Homelessness in the UK, including Housing Allowances.co-ordinating and commissioning research. Identifying how we position ourselves,and influence Government and Local Policy across the UK.
• Youll also have the opportunity to raise our profile and co-ordinate our approach with organisations that we are members, for example B Corp, EVPA etc.
• When it comes to being hands on, youll get involved with writing and inputting into Content, such as Blogs, Social Media Posts, Press Releases etc. Support in the development of the overall marketing strategy for Resonance.

What experience youll need to apply

• Significant Marketing and PR experience gained within either the housing, financial services; investment and social enterprise sectors
• Marketing and Policy Research experience
• Detailed understanding and experience in both on and offline Communications
• Ability to understand complex legislation and research from various sources and turn into a company positioning and then successfully articulate this
• Highly professional and ethical approach in representing the company and marketing its products.
• Strong networking, interpersonal, and influencing skills
• Excellent authoring skills, making well researched and highly technical content relevant and easy to understand for an audience
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and demonstrate initiative and tenacity in seeing tasks or projects through to conclusion
• Willing to travel within the UK and work with colleagues in multiple locations
• Enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck indo whatever it takes to get the job done - we are only a small team

What youll get in return

• SALARY: £40,000 - £49,000 (depending on experience) plus benefits
• WORKING DAYS: Mon to Fri (4 Day P/T Considered).
• HOURS: 36 hours per week (were triallinga 9 day working fortnight giving you every other Friday off as standard).
• WORKING MODEL: Hybridhome and office based with the HQ In Launceston. There Is potential for the Senior Communications Manager to work from the Bristol office, with a monthly visit to the Launceston office, where the Comms team is based.
