Quantity Surveyor for High-End Residential HousesLaunceston, CornwallWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor working on high-end residential house projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project costs from inception to completion, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, withinbudget and to the highest quality standards.Responsibilities:- Preparing and managing project budgets, cost estimates and bills of quantities- Evaluating tender documents and preparing tender reports- Managing project costs, including monitoring variations and ensuring that the project remains within budget- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard- Providing advice on contractual matters and preparing contractual claims and disputes when required- Maintaining accurate records of all project costs and variations- Preparing and presenting regular reports to clients and senior managementRequirements:- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or related field- Minimum of 2 years experience in quantity surveying for high-end residential house projects- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes and project management principles- Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant quantity surveying softwareWe offer a competitive salary package, opportunities for career development and a supportive work environment.
