A growing and successful accountancy practice based in Launceston is searching for a Personal Tax Assistant / Tax Senior to join their team delivering personal tax compliance service to wide ranging clients, along with increasing responsibility, client contactand involvement in tax planning/advisory work on offer as you develop within firm and role.Client DetailsBased in Launceston this highly regarded and successful accountancy firm is looking to bolster its tax department. The firm is undergoing sustained positive growth and has a highly experienced team of tax experts acting for wide ranging clients providinga personal tax compliance and planning service. The firmutilises IRIS with training provided for those not familiar with this software.DescriptionJoining as a Personal Tax Assistant / Tax Senior based from the firms Launceston offices you deliver personal tax compliance to a wide ranging client base. As you develop within the firm and role there will be increasing client contact and scope for involvementin delivering wider tax planning services . You will build relationships with clients and look to advise and deliver on tax advice and wider project work, working with the wider management and partner team. You will advise on property/trading allowances, marriedcouples allowances, private residence relief, business asset disposal relief, statutory residence tests, capital gains tax and other project work, liaising with HMRC and clients. The role and firm provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your personaltax career.ProfileYou are likely studying, or qualified across any of - ATT/ CTA / AAT / ACA / ACCA and you will have either specialised entirely within a personal tax career so far, with at least 1 - 2 years experience, or considerably more within your career so far to aroundthe Personal Tax Assistant / Tax Senior levels, or you may have a more generalist, all around accounts and tax background, developed within an accountancy practice firm background and be looking to specialise your career in personal tax moving forward.Job Offer£20,000 - £30,000 dependent on the experience and background of the right professional plus benefits.
