Job Description

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an ACA / ACCA Accountant to join a growing business as the Financial Accounting Manager, working as part of a highly effective finance team in a newly position which has arisen due to continued and sustained business growth.Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple entities, reviewing contracts and other business documents identifying financial and tax implications for the business.You will be supporting multiple projects from the planning through to their eventual completion,including managing the financial transactions; monitoring and reporting on financial performance of projects. As the Financial Accounting Manager, you will business partner non-finance teams, providing financial and technical advice, as well as stakeholder management including investors, grant providers and social enterprises.Financial Accounting Manager - The RewardsSalary: £45,000 - £52,500paBenefits: Company pension scheme, flexible working policies, 25 days leave + Bank holidays, ongoing support and CPD as well as future progression.Hours of work: 36 hours per week Mon - FriLocation: Hybrid -two days per week in the office in LauncestonWe welcome applications from individuals seeking full or part-time employment (3 days per week min)Financial Accounting Manager - The Person

  • We are keen to hear from ACA or ACCA qualified accountants, or similar, with excellent technical knowledge including tax and VAT as well as a proven recent track record in delivering accurate financial reporting.
  • You will be a self-starter with a high energy approach and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, change environment where you will be hands on.
  • Youll be a confident communicator able to build effective relationships with non-finance partners.
  • You will be a team player and enjoy working in a collaborative manner with colleagues at all levels in the business.
  • A natural solutions finder with excellent analytical skills, able to analyse, understand and explain information to non-finance staff at all levels.
  • Excel skills including use of formulas, look ups and pivot tables are essential.
