Job Description

Warehouse Operator / Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Larkhall, £11.50 (+ regular overtime)Do you have your sights set on a long term career opportunity Are you looking for a role where you can grow and develop without previous experience or qualifications Then keep reading!We are recruiting for Warehouse Operators with valid Counterbalance forklift licences to work at our clients site in Larkhall. As a Warehouse Operator, there are various aspects of the process that you can get stuck into and learn about from the ground up - without experience. So heres what to expect:
  • Monday to Friday work
  • Working a rotational shift pattern of back, early and night shifts
  • Operation of hand held pallet trucks
  • Operation of counterbalance forklift trucks
  • Retrieving palletised goods from production areas and relocating to stores area
  • Booking goods in to warehouse management system using handheld scanning gun
  • Put away of pallets into racking in specific warehouse locations
  • General warehouse duties as required
What were looking for
  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a warehouse & distribution environment or transferable skills from another environment
  • Up to date Counterbalance forklift licence
  • An enthusiastic can do attitude
