Role: Temporary Finance Analyst Location: East KilbrideAssignment Length: OngoingHours of Work: 9am-5pm, Monday-FridayRate of Pay: £15 per hourOffice Angels are urgently recruiting a temporary Finance Analyst for our client based in East Kilbride. This is an exciting role which is integral to the success of the business, and an excellent opportunity to gain experience working alongside a well-establishedteam.In this position you will work very closely with the Finance Manager and gain excellent exposure to all finance processes within a busy Accounts team. For this reason we are looking to introduce candidates with a solid understanding of basic accountancy andfinance principles. In addition the role will demand advanced knowledge of Excel (formulas and pivot tables). The successful candidate will have The successful candidate will have working knowledge of Sage 50 and/or Xero accounts software and will be ableto demonstrate previous experience of working within a busy finance team, with the ability to manage and prioritise a broad range of daily finance tasks.Duties -Co-ordination of business accountsSupporting with sales/purchase ledgerBank reconciliationsand investigation of unreconciled items Recording and processing invoicesDealing with VAT and supplier returnsRaising and issuing PO numbersProcessing petty cashPayroll journalsKeySkills:-Previous accounts experienceLogical/analytical thinking SAGE 50 (or Xero accounts) experienceStrong communication skillsProcess drivenProficient in Microsoft Office specifically Excel (intermediate knowledge necessary)Excellent attention to detailIf you are keen to progress within a Finance environment where you will benefit from being mentored by an accomplished Finance Leader then this could be an exciting career developing role.
