Job Description

Are you looking to be part of one of the worlds largest companiesAre you an experienced CoordinatorAre you looking for a new role to start immediately If so, read on.Our client, based in East Kilbride, makes, sells and distributes some of the worlds best loved non-alcoholic, ready-made beverages to over 300million customers across 13 countries; the site in East Kilbride produces 18million cases of drinks per year!Our client is looking for an experienced Technician to start as soon as possible.What to expect:The Onsite Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance to the QESH Management System. The role reports to the Safety Manager and incorporates Safety performance monitoring in the Operation and whilst working closely with the Environment Manager onaspects of Environmental standards.Key responsibilities include:

  • Review, report and advise management and Operations teams on Operational standards ensuring safety and environmental standards are met.
  • Review and ensure appropriate Occupational health assessment and practices are compliant
  • Undertaking internal audits to verify that working practices are safe, maintain quality and minimize the impact on the environment as well as meeting the business standards
  • Support external auditors with their audit process
  • Support Safety and Environmental initiatives to ensure compliance and minimise risks
  • Ensuring the team and site are working efficiently by exploiting new technologies and industry best practice
  • Sharing best practices with other team members and colleagues to improve customer service, Manufacturing and Distribution compliance and conformance.
  • Formally train others on site in relevant Safety and Environmental subjects, such as COSHH, Planned EOSH Inspections, Hazard awareness and management of wastes
Skills & Essentials:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Practical experience of workplace safety auditing or product/environment testing - desirable
  • Practical experience of undertaking risk assessments (safety or environment) - desirable
  • Working knowledge of SAP - desirable
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Previous experience in FMCG and or food / drinks sector
Pay rate; £24.000 per annum pro rataShifts hours : Monday- Thursday 0800- 1630, Friday 0800- 1500 37.5 hours per weekSuccessful candidates will be given a comprehensive induction and full training. Other benefits include;
