Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to work with our public sector client 12 month contract Location: 2/3 Days per week Minimum on site in East KilbrideIt will be highly advantageous if the ideal candidate holds active SC clearance Skills and experience:

  • Skills and experience
  • You must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of successful delivery management, across the full product/software delivery lifecycle delivering complex products/projects.
  • You must be able to evidence experience delivering solutions using agile tools and methods, including estimation, prioritisation, and managing risks and dependencies, i.e., through products like Jira and Confluence.
  • You must have proven experience of de facto project management methodologies and tools, including how and when to apply. Examples include Agile, Scrum and PRINCE2. It is essential to have qualifications and certifications in delivery management methodologies.
  • You will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be a robust character with a strong determination to deliver quality outcomes and time and to budget.
  • Ideally you will also have experience of third party and client stakeholder management.
  • Ideally you will be familiar with achieving delivery in a large regulated body, e.g., Government, Insurance, Banking, etc.
  • You will be used to matrix management of engineers, who also work for other teams and product delivery, and/or third party suppliers.
  • Delivery Skills, Agile and lean practices: a strong track record of successful delivery in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Planning: You must be able to evidence estimation, prioritisation, and managing risks and dependencies.
