Job Description

The Recruitment Co are delighted to be recruiting for a Night Shift Hygiene Operative for their client based in Tannochside.Pay rate: £13.20 Per HourStart date: ASAPContract: Ongoing TemporaryThe Duties

  • To provide support to the manufacturing process by ensuring equipment is cleaned and sanitised and re assembled to the correct standard after production has completed its daily plan.
  • Adhering to the companys health and safety policy.
  • Having a good understanding of the standards of hygiene / sanitation required to carry out the task.
  • Ensuring the production facility is sanitised to the correct standard daily.
  • Using cleaning equipment and tools correctly as trained to carry out the task.
  • Signing off area that have been cleaned
  • Cleaning other areas of the business when required
  • Any other reasonable request that is required.
The Person The ideal candidate will have the ability to work well as an individual but also be very much a team player. The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a factory environment previously. They will be someone who is able to prioritise a busy workloadand react quickly to a changing situation.The desirable candidate would:
  • Be an effective and reliable team member
  • Show an excellent attitude to work.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team or alone
  • Previous experience in a food environment strongly preferred
  • A good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP
  • COSHH trained
  • Have ability to build and understand machinery
  • Ability to drive a forklift truck would be advantageous
