Job Description

Machinist required to join a well-established Precision Engineering company that is based in the Larkhall area. My client is looking for a skill machinist to assist them manual machining, mostly lathe work.Machinist Position Overview

  • Manual machining working on lathes
  • CNC machining would be available if the successful candidate also had CNC experience
  • Read and understand engineering drawings
  • Good knowledge of cutting tools
Machinist Position Requirements
  • Manual machining / toolmaker experience is essential
  • Programming Setting and Operating experience on CNC Machines is advantageous
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and working with tight tolerances.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the Larkhall area
Machinist Position Remuneration
  • Full time - 37 hours per week
  • Salary - £30,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
  • Overtime available
  • 33 days paid holiday (inc. Public holidays)
