Job Description

nSummaryr £23,500 up to £30,000 per annum - This isnt supporting the frontline. This is the heart of the action.Our business is growing fast and continue to be extremely dynamic, as an IT Service Desk Analyst you will have to make sure our tech stays up to speed and the business is ready for every challenge. As an IT professional, youll have the technical know-how thatkeeps our IT systems running smoothly.This role is based in our Motherwell Regional Distribution Centre and will support the onsite Warehouse teams, such as logistics, sales, supply chain etc. Every day will bring a fresh challenge, putting your analytical mind to the test. Your commitment, energyand passion for outstanding service will play a vital role in keeping our IT systems working seamlessly.Please be aware that this role will also operate an out of hours rota who will be remunerated on top of the basic salary.We have a hybrid working model for Head Office roles, with only 3 days in the office per week ensuring you have a flexible work life balance.As part of your application, you will be asked to complete two online exercises taking approximately 10 minutes, designed to provide us with a more in-depth understanding of you and your potential as a member of our team.   • Be the IT expert for our warehouses, admin teams and stores
  • Installation, maintenance and monitoring of IT equipment in the Regional Distribution Centre and Motherwell region
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and solve any IT issues]
  • Support the day-to-day running of the Administration department
  • Maintaining Service Level targets
  • Managing incidents, requests and problems in a timely manner
  • Assisting with End User training
What youll needr Experience of providing first-line support, ideally in an ITIL environment Understanding of IT systems including servers, networks and printers A knack for managing and maintaining databases Initiative and drive to deliver excellent customer service skills A confident communication style and strong organisational skills A proactive, can-do attitude Experience of using appropriate IT technology, methods, principles and equipment such as:o Win8/Win10o Laptop / desktop support o Basic Networking knowledgeo Active Directoryo Incident management systems Experience of using the following IT technology would be desirable:o SCCM/MECMo MACo Cisco Phone Systems or other similar system What youll receiver This isnt getting by.
