RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a practice based in Rutherglen and has a growing list size, currently around 12,800 patients.We currently have 5 GP partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners,2 Practice Nurses, 2 GP Community Pharmacists (GPCP) and an HCSW.In addition, we have a fabulous administration team that support the clinical team.The Practice is attachedto a large Primary Care Centre, with access to Treatment Room facilities and other Allied Healthcare Professionals all under one roof.Accommodation is modern and nursing areas are fully equipped.As a progressive practice, we are constantly moving forward with the New GP Contract and seizing opportunities to cultivate the Expert Medical Generalist model in Practice. We participated in the early Pharmacotherapy pilots and now have 2 Pharmacists and1 Pharmacy Technician on site, dealing with discharges and acute prescriptions. We are also delighted to have a Link Worker for one day a week, who always has a full caseload. Recently, we have been exploring the possibility of housing a Mental Health WellbeingService in the Practice.Over the last five years, the GPs are involved with the NHSL training programme for Advanced Nurse Practitioners. We are based in a Primary Care Centre with District Nurses, Health Visitors, Podiatrists, Midwife/Maternity Care Centre, Physiotherapists, CommunityMental Health teams, CAMHS and Treatment Rooms working on site.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and conscientious Doctor in our Rutherglen practice.About YouIt would be great if you have GP experience of practice or soon be qualified as a GP.You will be a motivated individual who enjoys their role as a Doctor, can engage with patients and empathizes with various patients.
