Job Description

Page Personnel are delighted to be exclusively partnered with our client in recruiting a Finance Supervisor. This role is ideal for a part-qualified/QBE professionals with responsibilities across management accounting whilst supporting and supervising a small transactional finance function.Client DetailsOur client is a market leading business in a stable sector. Having enjoyed some recent growth and developing the finance function they are looking to bring an ambitious professional to support their plans.DescriptionThe successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:Assistant Management Accountant

  • Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Overhead variance analysis to budget
  • Journals , accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with weekly and monthly margin calculations
  • Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting duties
  • Participation in year end process
  • Intercompany accounting
    • Ledger Supervisor
  • Full responsibility of the transactional finance team (small team)
  • Resolution of outstanding queries with vendors
  • Resolution of customer overdue debt issues
  • Review and approval of weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Review of Statement reconciliations
  • Review and improve internal control processes and ensure these are being adhered to at all times
    • ProfileThe successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
  • Minimum 5 years finance knowledge is essential
  • Previous supervisory exposure is essential
  • Previous Sap knowledge (desirable but not essential)
  • IT literate - MS office (strong excel knowledge is essential)
  • First class communication skills
  • Must be proactive, forward thinking and able to use own initiative
  • Good attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
  • To work under minimal supervision and work to strict deadlines
