Search Construction is working on an excellent opportunity for a junior Quantity Surveying Candidate to join a busy, specialist sub contractor in a developmental role. This role is ideal for someone who is a recent grad or at assistant level with some relevant industry experience. The business is based in North Lanarkshire and enjoys a strong, long term pipeline of work within the energy efficiency market providing cavity wall insulation, Loft insulation, Pipe insulation, Internal insulation systems through dry-lining, Warmroof conversions, Industrial insulation, Warmcel Insulation, Timber frame insulation systems and Under-floor insulationThe Assistant Q.S / Estimator will support the Operations Director in managing the commercial function by assisting in various duties involving pricing works, site measures and commercial administration. To be effective in the role you will need to have:* Surveying Experience - ideally qualified to HND level min * An eye for detail - ability to ensure accurate pricing using schedule of rates * Strong skills using Excel * The ability to undertake accurate site measures* Full UK Driving licenseAny technical knowledge of energy efficiency / insulation products would be beneficial The successful candidate will benefit from a long term developmental opportunity in an already successful yet growing privately owned business.
