A major car retailer is seeking a Data analyst to join their team in Essex offering a competitive salary plus privilege discount scheme, travel insurance, pension, medical insurance (after 12 months service) and critical illness cover. As a Data analyst you will:- Provide regular and ad hoc sales and market analysis to both field teams and other central business areas.- Review monthly, quarterly and annual dealer sales objectives providing detailed analysis and tracking of individual dealer performance throughout each quarter and assisting in the close / open.- Prepare and distribute mail-merge files to dealers regarding objectives, stock, performance incentives and wholesale.- Prepare statistics and reports for management and dealer meetings with the ability to present your findings.- Provide deep analysis into the Derogation processes as outlined by the UK Government and continuous close monitoring of the sell down of stock across the UK.- Prepare monthly wholesale files which will include liaising with directors and Field Teams.- Conduct the data analysis and associated research for reporting activities for the Fleet Field Sales team.- Produce and enhance various reporting functions around both overall fleet and customer performance, industry model lines.- Support the organisation of National and District Dealer events (attendance may be required).- Handle a wide variety of dealer queries and correspondence, both verbal and written.- Assist induction training of new field personnel on key processes.We are looking for a Data analyst with the following:- IT Literate - Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, Word (incl: Mail Merge).- Ability to quickly recognise where improvements can be made and to create and communicate new ideas processes gaining senior management level buy in where appropriate.- Investigative nature with the ability to recognise how we can adopt new ways of working to improve process.- Proactive approach that will enable continuous improvement processes to be implemented.- Ability to communicate with multiple teams and key stakeholders.You will be working the hours of 8.00 am – 5.00 on, Monday to Friday with the opportunity for training.
