As a Barclays Resilience Lead - Markets, you will perform a critical role in delivering the frameworks, policy and standards which determine how resilience will be implemented across Barclays to ensure that colleagues have access to the technologies andbuildings that they need, to deliver services to customers and clients.You will work in collaboration with Group Resilience and other partners to ensure adherence to regulatory commitments. Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing Ensuring resilience governance materials are prepared, reviewed, signed off and distributed in a timely manner Collaborating across Barclays Resilience teams to ensure appropriate messaging and telling of the Barclays Resilience "story" at all times Coordinating regulatory submissions for Regulatory inquiries and exams for which BBPLC Resilience is responsible Partnering with Resilience Leads on BU aligned client inquiries related to Resilience Acting as primary point of contact for all BBPLC Resilience governance, Regulatory, and Client engagements Championing the consideration of governance and regulations in new Resilience programme initiatives Reviewing the regulatory requests to confirm evidence needed and areas to involve in responses Driving the timely response to regulatory or client requests What were looking for: A proven and effective manager operating in a matrix management model where influencing, negotiating and challenging skills have been highly leveraged Strong Resilience background, including understanding of risk management, crisis management and business continuity programmes Able to consistently deliver high quality results communicating and collaborating with non-direct reports Experience of working with and influencing staff at a senior level Skills that will help you in the role: Understands and leverages the use of technology, integrating into overall business strategies and solutions where appropriate Knowledge of working in an ERMF environment with a 3LoD methodology Maintains high standards of personal integrity, whilst demonstrating respect for other viewpoints Proven competency in use of MS Office applications Where will you be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
