MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER PERMANENT POSITIONKnutsford£36,000Monday to Friday - 8am to 4.30pm Due to significant investment in new machinery and lines, my client, a Market leading manufacturing company is seeking to bolster its Design team with the addition of a Mechanical Design Engineer. Manufacturing an array of products from their site they supply into major markets across the globe. This opportunity offers great security and stability for the right candidate. Role & Responsibilities*Concept through to production design of Mechanical Parts & Machinery*Both 2D & 3D CAD design of company machinery*Improvement work in relation to current designs and customer requirements*Working within a team of mechanical/project engineersRequired Skills & Experience*Draughting skills*Design skills *Problem solving techniques*Evidence of taking a concept through to completion*Application of engineering data. (Tolerances on drawings)*Understanding of pneumatic components, and their function*Understanding of various manufacturing methods*Understanding of proprietary mechanical components e.g. bearings*Use of 3D CAD system Company Information As a business our client is a market leader across the whole of the UK.
