Job Description

Working directly with our CTO and our R&D leadership team, the Private Sector Development Director will deliver all facets of the Private Sector product roadmap to accelerate growth and strengthen our Private Sector & cloud offerings.What you will be doing:

  • You will work with our Product Management team to optimise and deliver current and future product roadmaps
  • You will work with your peers to define, design and deliver core capabilities of the Advanced platform and ensure our products integrate with platform capabilities and optimise their use over time
  • You will oversee and manage key performance indicators in order to ensure quality, increased productivity and drive down defects and bug backlogs
  • You will drive agile delivery and optimise engineering and organisational practices
  • You will be leading a team of (circa 100) product owners, BAs and engineers across the UK and Indiaworking in a matrix environment
  • Who you are:
  • You are an active change agent and enjoy leading the way on transformational change
  • You have a keen sense of focus to realise organisational and team objectives
  • You are collaborative and enjoy working in a matrix environment and dispersed teams of 100+ people
  • You have proven experience leading successful delivery of large, complex, software products across several technology stacks including .Net, Progress, COBOL, Delphi, Ruby & Java
  • You have significant experience in leading development of cloud products and evolving on premise products to cloud
  • You are highly commercial with the ability to provide solutions that optimise cost, price and margin
