As a Barclays Compliance Senior Manager, you will support the Chief Compliance Officer for Barclays UK through delivery of the Barclays UK Compliance plan, with a particular focus on Barclays UK (BUK) Chief Operating Office (COO) and the conduct and reputationrisks that operates on behalf of BUK. You will ensure that business changes as well as existing processes, systems and controls comply with regulatory obligations and Barclays standards and principles. What will you be doing Providing day-to-day compliance and conducting oversight of BUK COO with a particular focus on Operations in complex and everyday servicing operations Understanding the BUK COO strategy to ensure robust oversight is provided and lead for Compliance on projects of strategic importance for the business Demonstrating ownership of issues and breaches, ensuring they are logged and tracked to conclusion and escalated to senior management where appropriate Identifying, managing and escalating conduct risks and risk themes within the Business Verticals Interpreting regulatory requirements and regulatory change, as relevant, across a range of topics Supporting regulatory visits and information requests ensuring all requirements are responded to, logged and actions satisfactorily met Contributing towards relevant external consultations, discussions and policy debates as required and providing input on assigned Policy and Standards as required Working with our Compliance Assurance colleagues to assist in identifying scope for review, supporting our Compliance Risk Assessment outcomes What were looking for: Communication skills - ability to communicate complex scenarios simply, clearly and briefly Execution skills - ability to set deadlines proactively for the business and monitor progress, escalating if required Ability to self-learn, be relentless curious and challenge outside of comfort zone Skills that will help you in the role: Experience in conducting and regulatory risk assessment and risk management Knowledge and experience of risk management including risk assessment tools and Compliance policies A good working knowledge of Operations and the role of the Chief Operating Office Where will you be workingYou will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
