Buyer - Indirect spend£28,000Knutsfordgap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Buyer to work at their facility based near KnutsfordPerformance Objectives Responsible for managing the end-end procurement process, delivering cost savings, spend management and driving innovation for all In-Direct goods and services and that they are procured to the required specification having regard for quality, delivery,price and other contractual conditions. You will provide cost effective and strategic purchasing focused not only on price but on total cost of acquisition and added value. Responsible for all in-direct spend relating to goods and services including CAPEX Generate and issue manual purchase orders via the Purchase Requisition Process. Responsible for all sub contractors. Responsible for the anodising process. Responsible for the Fleet Management of all Company vehicles. Expedite purchase orders for in-direct suppliers and contractors in a timely manner when required and where necessary inform the Supply Chain Manager regarding any delays / problems to ensure agreed delivery dates are met. Sourcing suppliers/contractors via the RFQ and Tendering process in line with the needs of the business. Inform the Supply Chain Manager of all price discrepancies. Ensure that all order acknowledgements are received within 48 Hours of receipt of PO and update the system with the confirmed delivery date.
