Finance Assistant, £25-27,000, KnaresboroughWe are currently recruiting for a fast-expanding business within the fitness sector who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the Financial Controller.You will be ensuring the smooth operation of the finance function of the business and be primarily responsible for maintaining the Sage 200 accounting system in a fast-moving environment to include Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, general banking, month end reports.Duties to involve: Dealing with Purchase and Sales Ledger Attend monthly meetings Posting banking transactions Ensure all sales receipts and purchase payments are allocated correctly Dealing with GBP, USD and Euro bank accounts Prepare bi-weekly pay runs Prepare reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts including fixed assets, prepayments and accruals Run key reports in Sage Supporting preparation of the management reports Assist in preparing weekly clash flow reportsSkills and experience required: Ideally AAT Level 4 or QBE Ideally working towards a recognized professional accounting qualification Previous experience with Sage 50 or 200 Strong excel skills, able to use formulas, VLOOKUP, PIVOT etc Strong IT Skills Attention to detail, adaptable and methodical Previous experience essential Knowledge of International currency advantageousIn return you will receive: Friendly working environment in beautiful surroundings Competitive salary Opportunity to develop and be challenged
