A long-established, well-respected retail business who has experienced strong growth in sales over the last 12 months, is looking to add a mid-level Front-End Developer to their small development team. This organisation offers an autonomous environment and the role is a great opportunity to make your mark on a well-known brand in the sports and leisure industry.As the Front-End Developer, you will be a key player in a small IT department and will have the opportunity to provide significant input into the future state of the front-end look and feel of all their projects. Your duties will include:- Taking ownership of HTML /CSS /JS web interfaces across the business.- Modifying PHP systems to support UI.- Developing and Testing great UX across a broad range of devices.- Developing and deploying improvements to the business’ CMS and ecommerce systems.- Improving integration between systems.The successful Front-End Developer will have the following skills and experience:- Have demonstrable commercial experience, preferably working on CMS based e-commerce development projects.- A strong communicator.- Be capable of working closely with a driven Digital Marketing team, to help them build solutions that will enhance the company’s digital presence.Perhaps you are looking to get away from working in an agency environment or you might just be looking for something a little bit different. The company offers a relaxed and sociable team environment and 100% remote working due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.
