We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to clients of the service team, across all sectors of care; providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.To be considered for this role you must have a post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS or HCPC, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology along with registration with the HCPC as a clinical psychologist.Informal Contact: Lorraine Currie onDetails on how to contact the Recruitment Service can be found within the Candidate Information Pack.
