Job Description

Saputo Dairy UK is a producer of leading British food brands and value-added ingredients. We produce a wide range of market leading brands, including Cathedral City cheese, Clover dairy spread, Country Life butter and Frylight cooking spray. We also manufacture specialised ingredients for use in the infant formula.What you’ll do at Saputo Dairy UK

  • Accountable for the overall quality compliance and standards of manufacturing at the Kirkby site.
  • To control and monitor the site QC and QA compliance ensuring appropriate corrective action as required is implemented.
  • To ensure that the product quality meets customer and consumer requirements and that this regularly monitored and reviewed.
  • To work with the site operations teams to drive quality compliance, reduce downgrade and ensure effective technical management.
  • To put into place qualitative and quantitative technical KPI’s and work to improve performance.
  • To ensure a professional and effective quality system integrates with the way we run our business and supports improvement, through audits, benchmarking and continual improvement initiatives.
    • Who’s right for the role
  • Trained to Advanced standard in Food Hygiene & HACCP.
  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Food / Dairy Science or Technology is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience leading, coaching and developing a team and working within a site technical management team
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Must have demonstrable experience of Quality Systems, GMP and Legislative Compliance standards.
  • Experience in utilising Continuous Improvement Techniques.
