Job Description

Shift pattern: Continental 4 on 4 off 12 hour shiftsSaputo Dairy UK is a producer of leading British food brands and value-added ingredients. We produce a wide range of market leading brands, including Cathedral City cheese, Clover dairy spread, Country Life butter and Frylight cooking spray. We also manufacture specialised ingredients for use in the infant formula.What you’ll do at Saputo Dairy UK

  • To assist in the training of new members of staff and in the ongoing training and development of the engineering team consistent with the requirements of the business.
  • To liaise with Technical/QA, Production, Health and Safety and other members of the site team to ensure that targets are met or exceeded.
  • To ensure that all plant and equipment meets or exceeds productivity and efficiency requirements
  • To ensure that the individual and collectively, the engineering department complies with Health and Safety at Work regulations and that Company policy is adhered to.
    • Who’s right for the role
  • Recognised engineering trade apprenticeship and/or minimum HNC in an engineering discipline.
  • Electrically biased
  • Extensive engineering experience within the food industry
  • Experience of high speed process and packaging systems is desirable
  • Good standard of numeracy and written and oral literacy and able to communicate clearly and concisely
