Job Description

The client are a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging and containers - supplying globally to sectors such as Food & Drink, Personal Care and HomecareThe post-holder will carry out plant maintenance work requirements for machines and equipment, plant facilities and buildings to acceptable standards.The company is based in Mansfield so are easily commutable from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Worksop, Derby.Duties to include are;

  • To carry out all planned repairs, maintenance and carry out safety checks on machines and equipment
  • Installation of machines, plant and equipment to company standards
  • To make, fabricate and assemble special purpose parts and equipment
  • Raise requisition orders for spare parts
  • The completion of job cards for the costing of machine maintenance
    • I welcome applications from candidates who hold the following skills and expertise;
  • Extensive experience of maintenance and repair on injection mould machines
  • Ideally have working knowledge of repair on Arburg, BMB or Sandretto machines
  • Some facilities maintenance will be advantageous
  • Able to work different shifts (days, afternoons and nights
