Permanent, Part Time (0.6) Across the School, the curriculum currently includes students on 16-18 study programmes, apprenticeships and adult programmes including access programmes. The School has a substantial HE provision too. The focus is on ensuringthat current and future students receive a first-class experience that enables them to progress and attain their qualifications at high levels and to develop long-lasting learning and employability skills. As Team Leader, you will be responsible for curriculumstandards and outcomes for a number of programmes across the School and specifically in the curriculum areas of Counselling and Mental Health. Reporting to Head of Section, you will monitor academic teaching staff and ensure quality teaching is being deliveredto students across the School. You will ensure programmes meet the needs, standards and requirements of all partners, including awarding bodies, employers and higher education institutions, and mentor and support NQTs. Wed like our Team Leader to hold a degreeor relevant professional qualification in the discipline of Counselling and be an accredited member of BACP. You will have excellent current teaching skills in Counselling/Mental Health and be graded as a good or better teacher. You will have experience ofsuccessfully monitoring and supporting at-risk learners to achieve or exceed their potential and have current knowledge of impending curriculum changes (HE & FE) and the implications for teaching and learning strategies. Experience of managing, supporting,and developing staff is desirable, not essential. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 14th December2023.
