  • Senior Support Worker
  • Coombe oak - Kingston
  • Full time - 39 hours per week - Consisting of 15hours administration per week.
  • £21,923 per annum
  • Shift patterns: (Early 0700-1400, Late 1400-2200, Mid Shifts (varied), Sleep in shift, Waking Night 2130-0700) Subject to change.
  • Drivers - manual licence (preferable)
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Senior Support Worker to join the team at our Coombe Oak service in Kingston. This service supports adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, dementia, downs syndrome and physical disabilities across4 bungalows, each bungalow supports 5 individuals. Our service is located in an affluent residential area only 5 minutes bus route from Kingston Town Centre. Individuals may need support with communication difficulties and some may display behaviour that isconsidered mildly challenging.In this role you will be;
  • Rota planning
  • Some shift leading
  • Planning activities within the community
  • Providing personal care
  • Supporting the people we support to enjoy and take part in activities; walks in the local community, swimming, banking, park visits, visiting cafes, shop and restaurants.
  • Supporting the people we support with all aspects of day to day life
  • Review of support guidance and risk assessments
  • Budget management of personal allowance
About YOU!
  • Have experience of supporting people with disabilities and complex needs
  • To be able to support people with their personal care
  • Be willing to lead by example and lead the team effectively
  • Good IT skills to use various systems and applications
  • Able to manage own time and workload
  • Flexible to work across the different shift patterns on a 7 day rota.
  • To be able to be part of an on call rota
  • Ideally hold a full valid driving licence and be willing to drive the mobility vehicles
