Job Description

SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant

  • SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant role based in Kingston-upon-Thames
  • To start ASAP / January 2021
  • Temporary to permanent employment
  • Supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, SLCN)
  • Daily rate of £80-90 per day
  • Free CPD and Constant support with interviewing and teaching
  • SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant Specification
  • Supporting pupils with ASD and/or speech and language difficulties
  • Roles within primary or secondary
  • Assisting the class teacher in duties such as preparing resources and managing pupil behaviour
  • Providing feedback on pupil progress
  • Full-time, long-term role to commence ASAP or January 2021
  • Daily rate from £80 per day (dependant on experience)
  • The School looking for an SEN TA / SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Large all-through SEND school in Kingston-upon-Thames
  • Ofsted rated Outstanding
  • Small class sizes with 2-3 support staff in each class
  • Exceptional facilities

  • Job Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Experience working within a school environment
  • Knowledge or previous experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable)
  • Valid DBS/Police Checks
  • Effective classroom management, curriculum knowledge, and good communication skills
  • Adaptable and flexible personality
