Job Description

Job descriptionProject CoordinatorBased in Surrey. Salary: £21,500- £24,000 per annum.We are currently recruiting for a lively events company who are looking for a Project Coordinator to work within their team. Your role as Project Coordinator will be to successfully manage client events as part of the Project Management team. To provide guidance, support and experience to clients and the internal team, as required. Overseeing multiple live events throughout the year, ensuring successful delivery of client requirements on time and on budget.Person Specification for Project Coordinator: -

  • Degree level educated or with equivalent
  • Working knowledge of successfully delivering events (500+ delegates) including being the only point of contact onsite, managing clients, venues, suppliers and delegates
  • Confident and familiar with delegate management systems
  • An understanding of how event technologies can be utilised at events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Customer focused at all times and able to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Working independently, taking responsibility for your own actions
  • Has an eye for attention to detail
  • Building trust with colleagues, clients and suppliers and a team player
  • Able to positively influence others
  • Organised and resilient
  • Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator: -
  • To assist with the planning, management and delivery of a range of meetings, conferences and events on behalf of the company’s clients – many of them using digital technologies to drive communications.
  • To undertake many aspects of project management, event management and logistics across client events.
  • To provide onsite support for projects across the UK and internationally.
  • To help prepare, manage and reconcile client budgets in conjunction with the Project Manager(s) and finance team.
  • To work in partnership with internal business units, including creative design, technical production, digital services, content creation, and delegate management to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
  • To support the Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on large scale events, pre event and onsite.
  • As part of the project team you will ensure that all client projects meet operational excellence standards and profitability targets set by the business.
  • To help manage supply chain partners to ensure the highest standards of service/product delivery at the best negotiated price
