They get the inside track on local nuances, traditions and cultures to understand and apply this information across traditional & new media, in all communications disciplinesThe OpportunityDue to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PR Account Manager. You will partner with a smorgasbord ofinternationalclients representing worldwide governmental tourism boards, both national and regionalalong with destinationbrands, resorts, and many international hotels.You will build relationships to understand their marketing goals and objectives and work as part of a team to deliver set expectations and create innovative and well structured marketing programmes.The position of PR Account Manager will suit an ambitious PR professional who wants a key role in a global, highly successful and rapidly expanding agency.Youll support in new business development alongside the leadership team, and continue to develop skills across presenting and influencing, proposal writing and pitch preparation.This is the chance to work in a dynamic and exciting marketing environment for a reputable organisation that can offer long term progression, remote working (requirement to attend the office infrequetly in London) and additional benefits

  • Managing a range of international tourism clients including NTOs, Hotels and Resorts
  • Develop a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
  • Coordinate of all public relations activities
  • Leveraging existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Pitching to the media for editorial opportunities for clients and the business
  • Content creation including press releases, pitching and other editorial copy
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results
  • Press trip organisation and hosting
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.
  • Influencer and Celebrity endorsement
  • Create and distribute press releases
  • Fielding of media enquiries
  • Attending and manging key industry PR events
  • Arranging press conferences and other public appearances
  • Working alongside the leadership team on new business pitches
Person Specification:
  • At least 3 years experience of PR in a similar role managing travel/tourism/lifestyle or consumer clients
  • Youre a true people person who excels in client relations and management
  • An outstanding attention to detail (make sure you dot those is and cross those ts!)
  • Youre an excellent writer and can prove it
  • Youve got a solid range of contacts across the media
  • Your organisation skills are top-notch
  • Multi-tasking comes naturally to you
  • Strong client handling skills with motivation to deliver beyond a brief
  • Persuasive, creative writing ability
  • Can challenge PR techniques beyond media relations
  • Effective relationship building with journalists and wider media
  • Interest in current affairs and understanding consumer trends
  • Outstanding organisation across billing, time management and processes
  • New business skills/ developing pitches in response to RFPs/Tenders
What this role can offer
  • The basic salary for this role is up to£35,000 DOE
  • This is a WFH role but you must be able to travel to our Central London office when required
