Job Description

March TA roles available Protocol Education are currently recruiting creative teaching assistants to work in one of our outstanding special needs school located in Kingston. This outstanding school is able to offer consistent and flexible work for the right candidate that is able to embrace and promote the schools vision and ethos. As a teaching assistant you will be required to create a setting that will inspire each child to become self-confident, independent life-learners who can confidently express themselves and make their own choice, whilst safeguarding, their happiness and safety. This particular school caters to the needs of children and young people between the ages of 4 and 12 years who have significant learning difficulties including those with an additional diagnosis of autism, and those with additional medical needs. Given the current circumstance with schools being temporarily closed, this role is set to start in Mrch 2020. However, this is subject to change and hopefully the role will be able to start sooner..Main Duties:• Engaging students through creative lessons such as art, song and dance• Helping with sensory integration within the classroom • Working with the teacher to assess pupils levels and ability• Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented• Liaising with parents and carers The school are looking for individuals who are:• Experienced working with children • Passionate about the potential for education and will go that extra mile every day• Adaptable, and able to work in a challenging setting• Interested in working in a different environment• Committed and resilient If youre looking for a deeply rewarding new challenge, please get in touch with me immediately!
