Helmar Care and Community Services is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide support and treatment to older people in their own homes.Key responsibilities:Assist service users with their personal care. Washing and dressing, shaving, teeth brushing, shower, strip wash, hair wash, feeding, preparing meals and shopping, washing linen, tidy up and vacuuming. Within the time allocated you spend time talking to them and ensuring the house/flat is secure and safe. You will be required to use a hoist or any other manual handling equipment to assist service user to be moved from one place to the other, assist with administering medication.Skills and experience:We will recruit people who have obtained a Care Certificate, NQV and QFS certificates in care. However training will be provided. There will a three months probation service, shadowing on the job and monitoring.We are seeking for peoploe who are abole to work late to 10.00pm (this is the time when most service users want to go to bed) The shifts can be varied as follows: 7.00am to 2.30pm, 4.00pm to 10.00pm and all day 7.00am to 10.00pmHolidays will be paid for and training will be provided as and when required. Free uniform, and PPEs. Required skills
