Job Description

To advise on, develop, plan, manage and deliver a range of strategic Faculty engagement activities such as events, exhibitions, conferences and websites. Embedding activities to enhance the Facultys reputation and to engage staff, students and externalstakeholders.Client DetailsA stunning University, voted one of top 50 institutions in country.Description

  • Under the strategic direction of the Dean, Associate Deans, and Head of Resources and Planning, advise on, develop, plan, strategic engagement activities with Faculty colleagues on the most suitable, cost-effective, and tailored activity to reach theirtarget audience.
  • Lead and be accountable for the successful management of engagement activities and events, ensuring they are delivered to the agreed specification, on time, meeting cost and quality expectations.
  • Identify additional service and staff requirements, then source and manage the stakeholder event delivery team, unique to each activity, generally composed of contract and adjunct staff.
  • Manage the delivery team to ensure quality standards are maintained and applied in their area of expertise.
  • Contribute to resource and budget planning for Faculty stakeholder activities.
  • Manage the budget for all Faculty engagement activities with the ability to analyse costs and to interrogate complex financial options, to ensure maximum value is delivered, in the organising and planning of engagement activities.
  • Establish clear understanding and involvement of key stakeholders developing excellent working relationships with colleagues within the Faculty and the wider University.
  • Attend and contribute to Faculty, team and department meetings as required and work closely with marketing and communications colleagues to ensure effective and coordinated working when delivering strategic Faculty events.
  • Brief and manage creatives (such as graphic designers, photographers, filmmakers and show producers) to produce high quality engagement content suitable for all stakeholders requirements.
  • Devise and use effective evaluation techniques where appropriate to measure and report on engagement success metrics.
  • To act as a brand champion
  • Accountable for the delivery of the show website, within scope, time, quality, and cost with specific responsibility for the project budget using best practice methodologies to deliver the project goal and value for money.
  • In delivering the Show website, participate in the requirements definition and selection of third-party application providers via the Universitys procurement processes and subsequently supporting the management of these third parties to deliver in accordancewith Service Levels.
  • In delivering the show website, ensure adherence to IT policies, risk frameworks, IT general controls, IT security best practice, standards and polices and compliance matters and key audits.

Able to succesfullyengage staff, students and external stakeholders.Job OfferContract starting immediately until the end of June 2024 - paying £200-£240 per day
