We have a current opportunity for a Caretaker on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Kingston upon Thames. Please see details of this role below;Ensuring the school buildings are opened and closed as required.Secure all buildings and set alarm when school is not in use.Respond to out of hours emergency/alarm call outs as required.Carry out and record statutory health and safety checks.Cleaning of facilities as required to ensure high standards of cleanliness for our hire customers, ensuring facilities are clean and tidy at the start and end of the letting.Basic repair and maintenance of property and grounds.Liaising with contractors and customers where necessary.Manual handling tasks such as moving, setting up and dismantling of furniture/equipment as required by the hirer or for functions and events.Be customer orientated and achieve friendly and helpful relationships with regular customers/hirers.Act as a Fire Marshall.Attend training as required e.g. health and safety, first aid.Positive participation in the performance management and review process.Carry out any other duties which may be reasonably be required by the Premises Manager, Bursar or Headteacher.Ideal Candidate must have the following;- Enhanced DBS check- Available ASAP- Happy to cover on a short term basis until Jan 2022Please get in touch if this vacancy is of interest to you.Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to temporary vacancies.
