Job Description

Assistant Management Accountant – Hull – c£25,000We are proud to be working with a well-established and reputable organisation within the Hull area, who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for that next step in theircareer in a supportive business.Package includes:

Assistant Management Accountant duties include:
  • Processing monthly journals
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with the production the monthly management accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasting
  • Completion of financial returns to legal bodies
  • Assisting management with the reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ad-hoc reporting
The ideal candidate will:
  • A good understanding of double entry and basic accounting principles
  • Experience in a varied accounting role
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work towards deadlines
  • IT knowledge including Excel
