Their aim is to engineer a better future by working to deliver a lasting impact on the lives of employees, the communities around us and the environment affected by their activities.About the Business Development Manager Role:You will be working closely with the Senior Management Team in the company, Group Sales team and Marketing Director to identify, target and prequalify new end user and OEM accounts to grow profitable new business opportunities and prospects, with realisable margins, for the Electrical business, focusing on Process and Manufacturing Automation and drive revenue streams through vertical solutions sales.You will develop the Automation business profile with new clients/opportunities driven by yourself and opportunities of the group’s identified core target clients.Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

  • Identify client account decision makers & develop relationships through meetings or other events and supporting the company CRM system
  • Using knowledge of the market and competition to feedback unique selling propositions
  • To present and support value sell and upselling opportunities
  • Forecasting against agreed sales targets and ensuring delivery
  • Support the prequalification, proposal and closure process where necessary
  • Ensure adi clients business objectives are satisfied through liaison and feedback to the Senior Management Team
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, attending industry functions and trade shows as may be required and approved from time to time
  • Networking other group companies to ensure opportunities for intercompany trading are maximised.
  • Exceeding sales target to achieve the company’s ambitious growth plans
