Become a SEN Teaching Assistant our school Trent Acres part of Options Autism and start working towards yours.Options Trent Acres School is currently undergone development and has increased its pupil numbers from 30 to 100 over the past two years, due to this the job roles advertised are new as part of this development and it is an exciting time for the School.The school is situated on a 12 acre site and is purpose built, modern and welcoming with a range of specialist learning areas including an indoor and outdoor riding area and outdoor gymnasium and our pupils have the opportunity to work with the animals onsite (horses, donkeys, goats, reptiles, chickens, chinchillas to name but a few) and learning outside of the classroom is a fundamental part of life at Options Trent Acres School.We have a dedicated team of staff who are focused on delivering high quality,child-centred, bespoke packages of education for all pupils.The School is within easy reach of Stoke, Derby, Telford, Stafford, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Cannock, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and surrounding areas.The opportunityEnjoy a rewarding education career and have a real impact on children and young peoples lives. Each individual has a diagnosis of Autism and may have additional needs. Theyhave so much potential, and they will rely on you to guide their learning journeys bespoke to them.You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals and engagewith the world.You will face challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive, sharing your skills and learning from others as your career takes you as high as you always dreamed you could go.Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, with lots of skills and experience to draw on along with valuable advice and guidance too.Who we are looking forYou dont need any experience to join our team. If you come from hospitality, the army, outdoor activity centres or an office-based job but are eager to help vulnerable children and young people to live happy, fulfilling lives, this is the role for you.We will provide you with full training and development to succeed within your role.You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising childrenas they explore further afield.Our schools are built on great teamwork and mutual support.
