The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.As Senior Clinical Coder you will support the Coding and Standards Manager in delivering the submission of validated Scottish Morbidity Records for all in-patient episodes and out-patient attendances across NHS Ayrshire & Arran. As an experienced clinical coder you will supervise, coach and train clinical coding staff. You will undertake data quality workstreams to ensure that clinical data is accurate. You will extract, validate and submit clinical data from accredited business systems into the National Statistical Schemes.You will be based within the coding department at University Hospitals Crosshouse and Ayr and require to work across all NHS Ayrshire & Arran hospital sites.Informal enquiries to Robert Bryden or Veronica Brownlie.
