Installation and Commissioning Security Engineer | Kilmarnock | Monday to Friday 8am4.30pm | £15.50 per hour starting rateOur client is a Security Company that installs and maintains systems throughout Scotland. With computer-aided technology, they can ensure they provide customers with a comprehensive and professional service.Our client is a friendly medium-size and rapidly growing company with a fantastic opportunity for the right people with the right attitude, to grow within the organisation.   • Time and half is paid for overtime, and double time for Sunday work.
  • You will be provided with a Company vehicle and a PDA in order to electronically communicate job details.
  • The engineer schedule is done for you by office staff so no routing by the security engineer is required.
  • Overtime is mostly voluntary and due to the volume of work available is virtually limitless
  • Salaries are reviewed at least once per year and operate a meritocracy, the better an operative is, the more they get paid
  • The company invests heavily in training and development and there are multiple paths open to those who demonstrate they are worth the investment. Initiative will take you a long way with the company

Are you the right person for the jobIf you have the following, then the answer is yes!
  • Full clean driving license
  • You should have experience, ideally within the public and private sector environment.
  • 2+ years experience with public space cameras
  • 2+ years experience with IP cameras (Hik, Dahua, Pelco etc)
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card
  • Valid Ipaf license (3a & 3b)
What will your role as an Installation and Commissioning Security Engineer look like
  • You will be responsible for completing the day-to-day delivery of CCTV installation, maintenance, and commissioning services within the business
  • you will undertake CCTV planned installations, maintenance, and commissioning works for Domestic, Commercial, and Public Sector clients
  • You will be required to undertake reasonable overtime
