The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, caring and respectful way.We are looking to relocate the Rapid Access Symptomatic Breast Service and would welcome applications from suitably experienced staff who would like to be involved in this exciting role within the Breast Service. You will primarily work within the Ayrshire and Arran Symptomatic Breast Service over two sites, University Hospital Crosshouse and Ayrshire Central Hospital providing assistance for mammography/breast imaging practitioners.You will have a requirement to work within the general Medical Imaging department as and when required. The applicant will be required to work flexible shifts Monday to Sunday. There is an expectation to provide cover for the symptomatic breast service over public holidays.The post holder is required to cover between two NHS Ayrshire and Arran sites, University Hospital Crosshouse and Ayrshire Central Hospital and there will be a requirement to travel.The post holder will be initailly employed as a Band 2 and transferred to Band 3 level on completion of competency training (banding consideration will be given to current band 3 applicants).Informal enquiries to Angela Donnelly (Lead Mammographer) Telephone
