General Manager (Process Plant) Girvan Competitive Salary Depending on Experience + Car Allowance + Company Pension + Healthcare Are you experienced as both a manager and a leader and want to join a highly specialised business that will give you full responsibility for one of their major process plants as well as a chance to grow further within the core business This company specialises in the production of biogas through the process of anaerobic digestion at a number of sites across Scotland and have been continuously expanding throughout recent years. They are looking for a versatile and highly competent generalmanager to take charge at one of their sites in Girvan. In this role you will hold a range of responsibilities for site including financial and productivity management, monthly reporting for finances and productivities, staff development and PDP management, external relationship management, resource management andensuring QHSE policies/processes are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in a general management role with NEBOSH/IOSH Managing Safely qualifications and will be educated to degree level. They will also have excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing teams of20+ people and will have top-rate business and financial acumen. The role: * Responsibility for managing of and monthly reporting against budgets, outputs, yields & efficiency * Ensuring staff are competent to carry out tasks, rewarding excellence & helping underperformers * Identifying areas for development and ensuring Personal Development Plans are in place * Identifying gaps in resources and addressing issues while also implementing contingency plans * Managing external relationships such as with local businesses, suppliers, contractors and HSE * Ensuring QHSE policies/processes are adhered to & implementing recommendations from advisors The person: * 10+ years experience in general management * Educated to Degree level in relevant discipline e.g Engineering, Business Studies, Chemistry * NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification * Track record of developing teams and improving KPIs * Excellent business and financial acumen * MBA or similar qualification for Business Management (desirable) * Experience working at production, power or process plants (desirable) * Full UK driving license Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd regrets to inform that our client can only accept applications from engineering candidates who have a valid legal permit or right to work in the United Kingdom.
