Job Description

I am delighted to bring to the market a part-time role available for leading client based in Ayrshire – Irvine and available for Hybrid working. This is a part time (31 hours per week), fixed term contract until 31 January 2024.As the Customs Compliance Coordinator you will be reporting to the Customs Compliance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing Customs Compliance in multiple areas as well as smooth turnaround for moving goods. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of documentation requirements from internal and external customers.
  • Completion of online Chamber of Commerce documentation.
  • Completion of import clearance instructions.
  • Completion of export entries.
  • Team metrics reporting.
  • Support all members of the team with documentation support and adhoc analysis.
  • TAX Support: Italian Ledger Support, EU VAT re-claim, Italian EX Works, EU entry Certificates for Suppliers.
Knowledge Required:
  • Experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial. Ability to resolve daily issues and escalate where appropriate.
  • Ability to work in a team and contribute to team success.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify opportunities for process improvements – challenges the status quo.
  • Basic excel skills required.
  • An understanding of accounting or any taxes would be beneficial.
  • Good organization and time keeping skills.
  • Full training will be provided
