Job Description

Customer Service SpecialistTeleperformance certified as a great place to work UK in 2023!. You will be taking inbound calls on behalf of our prestigious banking client Virgin Money.Start Date: 22 January 2024

  • Salary: £20,475 per annum (£10.50 per hour)
  • Location: Kilmarnock - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE. WORK FROM HOME IS NOT AVAILABLE
  • Shifts: Monday to Sunday between 7.00 am and 9.00 pm
  • Training: 3 weeks
  • Contract: Full Time Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
  • Background Checking:
    • Right to Work in the UK
    • Criminal Record Check
    • Credit Check
    • Any other associated checks
    • 3 year employment history check
**Please note we do not allow any time off/holiday requests within the first 8 weeks to allow for full training**Skills needed to be a Customer Service Specialist

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A good listener who can convey empathy, patience and understanding
  • Confident and proactive to deal with difficult situations and conversations
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be driven to work towards achievable targets
  • Proven experience of working with computers
  • High levels of resilience and patience when dealing with difficult situations or customers who may find it hard to understand what youre explaining
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional and efficient customer service from in-bound calls from customers
    • Use your problem-solving skills to support our customers, resolve their query and create a positive experience
    • Ensure that all customers are supported in accordance with regulatory requirements which aim to protect our customers
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be knowledgeable of our client’s process and products and how best to support the customer
  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are addressed in a prompt and amenable manner
  • Where applicable, direct the customer to the relevant department.
