The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, care and respectful way.As a Clinical Support Worker you will work within the temporary GP assessment unit. The unit takes GP calls where the patients are assessed for future treatment/management. It is open from 7.30 to 20.00 hours, Monday to Sunday.You must be competent in phlebotomy, clinical observations, interpretation of NEWS and performing ECG tracings would be highly desirable. You will be working harmoniously with registered nursing staff and medical staff, often assisting with minor invasive procedures.You should be able to demonstrate commitment to this role with a forward thinking attitude, maintaining caring, safe, respectful attitudes and behaviours in the provision of patient care.At present this post it temporary, however we are looking to develop the unit.Hours: The hours could be variable.Fixed term opportunity for 3 months.Informal enquiries to: Andrea Haswell, Senior Charge Nurse, Tel/1/2 or Ext: 27840/1/2.Closing date: 25th August 2020.
